On The Grow, Layered Marker Technique

August 6, 2011 by Judi Anderson Leave a Comment

6 Aug

I will be honest with you, I am not one that uses markers to color, I love water coloring! BUT, if you do the Layered Marker Technique correctly, you can get spectacular results. The key is to use different depths of a color (IE: light blue, medium blue, deep blue) to create depth. I always highlight the image with our Signo White Gel pen. For this card I used Baja Breeze, Marina Mist, Pacific Point for the flowers and Sahara Sand, Wild Wasabi and Garden Green for the leaves. The glass jar is water colored (had to sneek it in!) using the Baja Breeze. This card is just 1 of 3 that my Hostess Clubs will be creating in August.

Would you like to learn and try this technique?  You're in luck! This technique will be included in my September workshops so book yours today!
