I hope you enjoyed yesterday's sample using the Tea Shoppe stamp set! As promised, I am going to share the bolder side of this set and the Twitterpated DSP.
I used Riding HoodRed as the card base, Pear Pizzaz,Riding Hood Red and Basic Gray for the mats. Once again, I used 2 different sides of the Twitterpated DSP. I added interest and texture to down the center of the Baja Breeze side of the DSP using the 3/8" Blushing Bride Pleated Satin Ribbon found on page 12 of the Occasions Mini Catalog 2012. I just love, love, love this new ribbon and am so hApPy it comes in Pear Pizzaz, Riding Hood Red, Blushing Bride, and Baja Breeze. This is one example of making stamping easier by cutting the tea cups apart. By doing this I was able to stamp each on it's own color, making it much quicker to create this card 50 times for my swaps at Leadership! Did you notice I did use the marker to stamp technique on the verse? I stamped the verse onto my Basic Gray Ink Pad, erased the ink off the tiny tea cup using my blender pen, then using my Pear Pizzaz Stampin' Write Marker, I colored the heart. This may sound like a long process but do you really think I would have taken these few extra setps if it took me THAT long? Heck no, not me!!
If you click on the above, image you will also see that I stamped the violets from the Tea Shoppe stamp set in the lower left hand corner using Riding Hood Red so it adds interest without drawing your eye away from the focal point. I felt the card needed a little something in the upper left hand corner so I used 3 mini Basic Pearls. As an after-thought I could have added 3 of the Poisy shaped flowers from our Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and then added the pearls to each of the posies.
Once again these pictures were taken with my phone so aren't the best, sorry!
I hope these samples have inspired your imagination. I know you will be happy when you add the Tea Shoppe Stamp Set to your stamp collection!
