This Adorable and Easy Storybook Friends baby card was created for a sweet new arrival—and I couldn’t wait to share it with you! I used soft pastel colors, playful patterns, and just the right touch of charm to make this card feel warm, welcoming, and oh-so-special.

The Storybook Friends stamp set and dies are absolutely perfect for baby cards. With sweet bunnies and charming accessories, this bundle makes it easy to build a scene that’s both cute and classic. The star of today’s card? That precious little bunny, colored to life with Stampin’ Blends.
The color palette includes Lemon Lolly, Petal Pink, and Basic White, accented with the soft textures of Perfectly Pear Designer Series Paper—a sneak peek from an upcoming July release! It adds just the right gentle, playful, floral touch to the card without overwhelming the stamped image.

Adorable and Easy Storybook Friends Baby Card with Sweet Details
Let’s talk details. I stamped the elephant in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it using Naturals Blends #6 and #7 for soft, realistic shading. The ears received a blush of Petal Pink Dark, while Pretty in Pink Light added just the tiniest glow. These subtle touches bring the card to life without being too bold for a baby-themed design.
A strip of Designer Series Paper grounds the focal image, and the layers of cardstock in Petal Pink Lemon Lolly give it a soft, sunshiney frame. The sentiment is sweet and simple—perfect for a keepsake card for a baby shower gift.
Here’s measurements for recreating the card:
- Lemon Lolly: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″, 5 1/2″ x 1 3/4″
- Petal Pink: 3 ½” x 3”, 3 ¾” x 5”
- Basic White: 2” x 2 ¼”, 2” x 1”, 3 ½” x 4 ¾”
- Ribbon: 7”
This card design is beginner-friendly but polished, making it a great go-to layout for any baby card. And of course, it’s easy to customize depending on the baby’s gender or nursery theme.

Whether you’re celebrating a brand-new baby, planning a shower card, or just love bunnies as much as I do, the Storybook Friends stamp set & dies are sure to become one of your favorites.
