Making room for new products! 2015 Stampin’ Up! Retiring List

The 2015 Stampin’ Up! Retiring list has just been released~it’s always a sad time of year when we have to say good-bye to many of our favorite stamp sets & products. I want to remind you that the accessories, papers, & inks are available while quantities last. The stamp sets will be produced up to the final week of the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog, at which time they will then be  on a while quantities last basis.

Be sure to order your  2013-2015 In-Color products because they are usually the first items to go! I recommend that you print the list, sit down with a highlighter and mark the retiring items in your catalog BUT BE SURE to have your wish list handy so you don’t miss out on buying those items on it!

    • It goes through the end of March, BUT, remember the sooner you sign up, the longer you can take advantage of Sale-A-Bration!

May’s Best of 25 Years stamp set

  arrived just in time for those spring and summer weddings and babies.  This set is called- Best of  Brides and Babies.

My calendar is filling up with wedding and baby showers already so I know I will get good use of this exclusive set.

The “cute” onsie would make an adorable tag to attach to a basket of onsies for an entire week. You could stamp the image, color them a different color for each day & add the day on each tag and include socks and other accessories, put them into an adorable basket and line them up. Oh how I wish I had this for a baby shower I will be attending this weekend! What? You would love to see a sample of this? Well who am I to argue? I will post my baby gift here soon. Warning. . . . don’t wait to order your set because you will want to make one too!

The bell image is from a set I have held onto and consistently use. This image is smaller than the original and will be great to use along side the original.

How cute would it be to make a card that resembles a cake and use the bride & groom as a topper? Got to try that one!

(I’m sure you’re loving the Best of Brides and Babies stamp set already but wait, there’s more!)

Those teddy bears are just too dang cute too! I think I will use it to create a border on some burp cloths. How? I will add a fabric additive to my acrylic paints and apply the paint to the stamp with a foam brush. Stamp a cotton fabric that I will add to the burp cloth, iron to set it and done! I won’t color the images in, rather I will stamp them in different colors. Quick baby gift.

The Happy Anniversary image is the new image for this set. I will get use of this too.

2013-2014 NEW In-Colors & Oh,Hello & A Round Array card

I received my bi-monthly Stampin’ Success ( exclusive demonstrator magazine) in today’s mail and guess what I found tucked within it’s pages? The New 2013 – 2014 In-Colors and boy, do they sound yummy!! They even had sample projects, tucked throughout, using these great,new, In-Colors. This is one of the awesome benefits of being a demonstrator- early sneek-peeks of upcoming product!   While I can’t share what they look like, I can share their names. Drum roll please . . . . . . . . .  Crisp Cantalope, Baked Brown Sugar, Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, and Coastal Cabana. I can’t wait to share projects with these scrumptious colors that are sure to please anyone’s color palette. Look for samples coming your way soon. . . . . .

Today I am sharing a fun 4×4 card that is quick to create. My color palette is; Island Indigo, Early Espresso and Whisper White. If you’d like this card to be on more of the masculine side you could choose to use River Rock, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, or any of our other lighter Neutrals to replace the Whisper White.

I love how the white space in this card makes the elements on the card stand out. I use the term white space as a reference to the unstamped space on this card.  I stamped the banner using Early Espresso ink on Island Indigo card stock. I backed the Designer Builder Brad with Early Espresso card stock to add depth.

The “You make me smile!” phrase is from the Spring Surprise Special “A Round Array” that is available to purchase alone or in a bunch with the coordinating 7/8″ scallop circle punch. View the Spring Surprise Special here by clicking here.  (I used a 1″circle punch so the scallops look like little polka dots instead of scallops. I also decided I didn’t want to used the little dome thingy that goes with the Designer Builder Brad and instead put my stamped element on with a Stampin’ Dimensional.  A Round Array element
