Going on a long road trip? Why not make a treat bag for each child for each day you are on the road? These treat bags can consist of materials to make a craft while on the road. How about a journal for the first day? Then you could do a page a day and include fun paper pieces pre-cut /punched for them to put in their journal each day as they write what they did & saw for that day. It  can consist of paper pieces for them to make a card to send to someone each day from the location you are visiting. Take a close look at the flyer and you could do up some special treats for them to open when they are doing good that day. I would have my children help me bake special goodies for those road trips. I would take them and package them up with other goodies (they couldn’t see what was in them) and then they would pick out their own bag from the “good day” box.
