Vintage Vogue with Attic Boutique

I am really, really going to miss the Vintage Vogue stamp set! I have created so many different projects and my hostess club members always love seeing the new ideas I came up with. All of them own this set, if they didn’t buy it the first time I shared ideas they were sure to have by the third time! The card I am sharing today uses the Attic Boutique Designer Series Paper # 125407 found in the Occassions Mini Catalog. Yes, I know this mini catalog ended April 30th but several of the items in it were carried over another month!! I highly recommend this assortment of Designer Series Paper, I know you will find several projects that will look great with it. You might also consider the Rue Des Fleurs stamp set # 125485(w) # 125487(c)which coordinates with this paper.  I took my color cues from the designer series paper for this card.

Materials

Stamps

Vintage Vogue

Inks

Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight

Paper

Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Attic Boutique Designer Series paper # 125407

The Attic Boutique Designer Series Paper is the smaller strip along the bottom of this card and the dark, patterned mat behind the verse. The upper is the images from the Vintage Vogue stamp set stamped randomly. To create the soft look of the designer series paper I stamped off before stamping the images.

This card reminds me of visiting my grandmothers’ farm house when I was growing up. She had simple, vintage items in her house and I think that is why I am often drawn to stamp sets such as Vintage Vogue.
