Thank You! – our theme for the ICS Blog Hop this month

Thank You! – our theme for the ICS Blog Hop this month is to help you get a jump on your thank you cards. Do you keep a stock to have on hand? If you are arriving from Elizabeth’s project, didn’t you love it?

I actually create several thank you cards while making my holiday cards using the same set(s) to have on hand right after the holidays. I will make a much simpler look and change the colors I use. This idea also works for those December Birthday’s!

Since I have finished my holiday thank you’s I decided to pull out some bright colors. I pulled a stamp set coming in the 2022 January to June Catalog. My card uses the Sentimental Swirls stamp set found on page 56.

This set was designed by Sam Hammond (Pootles) for her 1 Million Dollar stamp set. I love the whimsical swirls, flowers and more in this set.

Thank You! – our theme is one that I am always in need of.

I love sending thank you notes for just abut any reason. do you? I used Granny Apple Green, Magenta Madness and Mango Melody. Sending these out in late January and February will brighten someone’s day. We all can use a little bright in these winter month’s!

This is a tri-fold card where the sentiment peeks out of a circle in the top flap. To color the flowers on this flap I stamped first, colored in the image with our Chalk Marker then used my Mango Melody Stampin’ Write Marker.

This second layer is created by stamping the swirl then adding the white dots with the Chalk Marker. The flowers (and many other images) are created by 2-step stamping. This set coordinates with the Flowers & Leaves Punch on page 148 of the Annual Catalog. I fussy cut mine because my punch hasn’t arrived yet. Bot, it would have been much easier puncing them!

This is the inside of the card, the third layer. I have left it blank to add just the right sentiment when I send it. Did you enjoy this sneek peak?
