When I received my Easter Blessings stamp I just couldn’t wait to use it with the hydrangea image from(The Best of 25 Years Set) Best of Flowers . I have a few smaller stamps that say Happy Easter and had my eye on this larger print stamp as soon as I saw it in our Seasonal Catalog. This is a single stamp so it only available as a wood -mount set. I just love the script & how it so elegantly flows, don’t you?
I created several cards using this set for my March Step-Up Class which had 3 different Easter cards & 2 thank you cards. I wanted a simple card using both of these sets for my 10-10-30 class.Participants did the “thumping technique” to create the colors on the hydrangea. I am sure those of you that recognize this hydrangea are thinking,” Um, this sure does look smaller than I remember it.” You’re right! This set is a collection of 3 of the best flower stamps from the past quarter-century, only in a smaller size. I just love the sizes in this set as they are so versatile (and they go great with their larger original images). This set also includes a never-before-seen flower image that coordinates perfectly with our 1-1/4″ Scallop Circle punch.
Here is the card I came up with.

A fun fact on the Nikko Blue Hydrangea- the more acidic the soil the more blue the flowers are.
