Stampin’ Up! Convention swaps

Ok, Iknow this has taken quite a bit of time but I have finally gotten a chance to share a few of my swaps that I made for convention this year. This first swap uses the stamp set, Turtle & Co. , which is our Ronald McDonald House Charities exclusive set for this year. Stampin' Up! will donate $3 for each set sold.

I will be holding a class in August featuring this stamp set to go to My Calendar of Events to get all the details. This is just one of the projects we will be making in this fun class!

Ronald Mc I used Certainly Celery,

Marina Mist,

Poppy Parade ,

So Saffron &

Whisper White cs

and our

Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper (DSP)

in creating this fun card.   I did an assortment of cards using these colors and the different pattern you find in the DSP to create about 80 cards of with different looks. I got 18 cards from each piece of DSP and used 1 sheet almost of each in the package. If you used all the DSP you could get 216 assorted cards from just 1 package!

With holding to the same basic layout and idea here is a more formal/elegant card swap using the Field Flowers stamp set. Floral blue

The colors I used are:

Not Quite Navy,

Cajun Craze,

Always Artichoke

Well Worn DSP

Like the RMHC set, I used both sides of the DSP to give the cards different looks. I also used an embossing folder on some for added texture. Here is a look of the same sheet of DSP, only the reverse side:

Blue floral 2

This color combination seemed to be the favorite for those that like color , but, when I pulled out the one's I used the embossing folder, which had a more shabby/chic look, people said they loved them too! Everyone made a comment that they would never pair the Well Worn DSP with this set but they loved them all!!

Be sure to check tomorrow for more convention swap shares. I will also be posting a special class using the Field Flowers Stamp Set
