Easy Fun Fold Card Idea with a Sweet Buzz-y Twist Alright, so I saw Judi’s July 8th YouTube live and thought, “Cute card… but let’s make it buzz.” 🐝
She made this easy fun fold card idea that was clean, layered, and lovely—with a sentiment front and all the trimmings. But y’all know me. I don’t follow directions—I reinterpret them. So, I tossed the front sentiment, grabbed a bee, and gave this card the Tammy touch.
Let me introduce you to my version:
Floral Blooms DSP? Check.
Highland Heather and Lemon Lolly bee? Double check.
Wings lightly washed with Pool Party using a watercolor brush? Oh, you better believe it. That little bee is the star of the show now, right in the middle of that front panel. No words. Just vibes. Just buzz.
Easy Fun Fold Card Idea That Leaves Room to Play
You know what happens when you lift that front flap?
Boom. Surprise panel.
I added a Basic White square and stamped it up with a few flowers and the words:
“You make my heart buzz.”
Because if I’m going rogue, I’m at least gonna make it adorable!
I didn’t stop there. On the inside of the card, I added a little scrap of that Floral Blooms DSP. You know, the kind of piece you usually throw away because “what could I possibly use this tiny thing for?” Yeah, that one. Turns out, it looks fabulous as an inside accent.
