Tea Shoppe

You can find our Tea Shoppe stamp set on page 19 of our newly released Occassions Mini Catalog 2012. Tea Shoppe contains 10 stamps, some coordinate with a few of our punches found on page 209-210 of our Idea Book & Catalog. I purchased the set to be mounted on clear blocks but as with most of our sets you can choose to opurchase them mounted on wood. I did cut apart the set of 3 tea cups so they can be stamped as one or as individuals or in any combination of 2. I sometimes do this to make stamping multiple cards more time efficient. For this particular card I decided not to use any of the tea cups, I used the violets and one of the several cerses you get in this set. I wanted  to give this card a soft look so chose the softer colors in the Twitterpated DSP (#125406)pallette.

Tea for TwoI used Bja Breeze as the card base, one design of the Twitterpated DSP at the top and another at the bottom. In the center, I used Pear Pizzaz card stock and embossed hearts using our NEW Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#125601) page 11 of the Occasions Mini Catalog.

I stamped the verse onto Whisper White card stock and then the violets to the left. I stamped the "stay" onto Pink Pirouette cs and the "friends" onto Baja Breeze, cut them out, then attached these pieces over the words on the Whisper White. I watercolored the violets using Pink Pirouette , Ridinghood Red, and Pear Pizzaz inks and my aqua painter. I attached this piece to a piece of Pear Pizzaz that I had punched one end with our Pinking Hearts Border Punch (# 117649). Added a strip of Baja Breeze card stock, then a piece of our 1/8" Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon and one of the Twitterpated Designer Buttons (#125579) page 12 of the Occassions Mini Catalog.

I'm sorry the picture may be a little blurry but I took it with my phone because I forgot to scan it before I gave it away. Come back tomorrow for a bolder look using the Tea Shoppe stamp set.
