Today I am sharing a fun 4×4 card that is quick to create. My color palette is; Island Indigo, Early Espresso and Whisper White. If you’d like this card to be on more of the masculine side you could choose to use River Rock, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, or any of our other lighter Neutrals to replace the Whisper White.
I love how the white space in this card makes the elements on the card stand out. I use the term white space as a reference to the unstamped space on this card. I stamped the banner using Early Espresso ink on Island Indigo card stock. I backed the Designer Builder Brad with Early Espresso card stock to add depth.
The “You make me smile!” phrase is from the Spring Surprise Special “A Round Array” that is available to purchase alone or in a bunch with the coordinating 7/8″ scallop circle punch. View the Spring Surprise Special here by clicking here. (I used a 1″circle punch so the scallops look like little polka dots instead of scallops. I also decided I didn’t want to used the little dome thingy that goes with the Designer Builder Brad and instead put my stamped element on with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
Here is a close up of this element.
I am happy with the simplicity of this card- how do you like it? Please leave me a comment and I will choose a name on April 20th and send it to the winner!
