The Celebrate Sunflowers, a newly released Bundle for SBTD Blog Hop

The Celebrate Sunflowers, a newly released Bundle (#154065)found on page 13 of the newly released 2020 – 2021 Annual Catalog. I love the 10% savings when you purchase the set and dies as a bundle, don’t you?

This bundle creates a striking card when paired with the “Smooshed Ink” technique. I had created this background paper last month. When doing this technique I always recommend having extra paper available to use up the ink. I had two pieces of watercolor paper left, I knew one would be perfect for this new bundle when I first saw it.

Previously, I shared how to create the background paper. You can check out that card plus a video on how to create this eye-catching technique here.

All I had to add was some Basic Black cardstock and a Mango Melody card base to create a stunning card. Oh but wait. I didn’t stop there! Add some bling! Our 3/8″ Glitter Organdy Ribbon and a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels and this card was taken to the next level in a blink of the eye.

So, what do you think? Isn’t that card just stunning? I know. It isn’t one you probably would have thought of when you look at the set but come on, it totally worked! You got to love it when an idea turns out more spectacular than you imagined. ( I just noticed that stray Rhinestone Jewel)

If there is anything you have learned by visiting me is that I love to watercolor. This image is spectacular and the perfect size to practice your water coloring. It has just enough details to help guide you and the petals are the perfect size to practice your brush strokes.

Let’s not stop imagining here. I have got so many ideas spinning in my head for this set. I love the sample that is shown on page 13. You know the one that is done on Crumb Cake card stock. It is one that I will be casing!
