My rainbow of cherries card is inspired by our 2022 – 2023 Annual Catalog. I love how this idea showcases some of the colors in our color families. Check out page 150 to see what I am talking about.
I have always loved seeing cherries in a bowl. Seeing them in different patterned and colored bowls has always caught my eye, even as a child.
When painting my moms kitchen, years ago, I included cherries in the design. Growning up on a farm, mom always loved the country look in home decor. Finding a great wallpaper border that had non else than, bowls of cherries! It was perfect for her kitchen. I hung the border and above it I stamped cherries! Tht’s right, I used my rubber stamps and made my own coordinating pattern by using craft paint and my stamps. She loved it!
My rainbow of cherries card uses the Sweet Cherries Bundle (158717).
I knew the punch in this bundle would make creating this card a breeze. I chose the colors of; Balmy Blue, Sweet Sorbet, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, and Pool Party for my rainbow of cherries. I created this slim-line card with a Basic Black base and a mat of Parakeet Party.
I hope you try doing this rainbow of colors idea on one of your cards in the near future. And don’t forget….. life is a bowl of cherries!
