Halloween Toil and Trouble

9 Oct

I have set out to creating some fun projects with my Toil & Trouble stamp set. I will be creating a few projects to share treats with friends and others I meet while taking my granddaughter out for our fall walks. I also want to share these projects with you. I know you are going to want to re-create some, who am I kidding?? You’re going to want to make all of these projects!!!!I put together a bundle of products you may ant to purchase so you can create them too, see this bundle at the end of this post.

You’re going to want to be sure to read all the way to the bottom to find out how you can receive some product to create these projects from me for FREE!

Today I am going to share elements of the card I am in the process of designing to send to  my brother’s family. I will send this card along with a box of home made treats for them to enjoy.

Toil & Troube crow elementI stamped the verse in the Toil & Trouble stamp set onto Tangerine Tango cardstock using StazOn Jet Black ink.

Ummm. . . . . . .  we need a little bit of bling. I grabbed my Dazzling Details and added dots where ever I thought it needed it.

Still a little more is needed….

I stamped the crow from the Toil & Trouble stamp set onto Very Vanilla cardstock, cut it out and popped it onto the card with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

Still needing a bit more. . . . . . . .

Toil & Trouble ribbon detail

This element of my card was screaming ribbon, ribbon, ribbon, to me.

I grabbed my Basic Black seam binding ribbon, crunched it up and put it along the right side.

There, I think this element of my card is done.

. . . . . . on to the next element

skulls detail Toil & TroubleI set the first element on the basic black cardstock for placement of the skulls. I stamped them onto the basic black using Whisper White craft ink.

They look good but. . . .  needed the “scare” factor !

Grab the Dazzling Details , add a dot to the eye cavity . . . . . . . .  Beware, I’m watching you!!

( yes, I am entertained quite easily. )

I want my elements to “pop” so I chose Crushed Curry as my card base. Be sure to come back tomorrow to see how I put these all together..
