Who needs stamps?
I was so excited to receive my order last week, I was expecting a few of my newest fall products in the order. I knew that the Fun Fall Framelits would arrive on time but I had been notified the Fall Fest stamp set would be arriving a day or two later. I bought these two products in the bundle and saved 15% ! I was eager to some creative fun time since I had spent a few days cleaning up the mess in my stamp studio (read about it here). I didn’t let not having the stamp set keep me from playing with the Fun Fall framelits, after all who needs stamps?
I grabbed my Flower Pot Designer Series Paper , a piece of Elegant Eggplant , Basic Black, Crushed Curry & Whisper White card stocks. I cut the Elegant Eggplant to measure 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ ,folded it in half to form the card base. Choosing the striped designer paper from the pack, I cut it to 1 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, laid it onto the card base. Nope. Needs something.
Ah ha!
The stars decorative mask and the iridescent Ink pad (retired but you could use the Whisper White Craft pad which I couldn’t locate at the moment) That did it!
A smaller strip of designer paper with tails to form a banner. A circle punched from the Basic Black cardstock using the 2″ circle punch. Using the Fun Fall framelits I cut out a Ghost from the Whisper White cardstock.
Oh my, so dull with no face! Using a sponge dauber and Pink Pirouette ink for cheeks and our Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker he now has personality! A harvest moon to add a bit of brightness (a circle punched from the Daffodil Delight cardstock and sponged around the edge with Tangerine Tango). I added a few silver brads onto the banner, attached the basic black circle to the card front, offset the moon and popped the ghost using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Wanting a little bling, I added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the edges of the ghost using my 2-way glue pen. I love it!! . . .and no stamps!
