Easy Window Card for Beginners: Tammy’s Shortcut to Stamping Glory

So, here’s my story. I saw Judi make this fancy fold card on her live, and I thought… that’s cute.

But ~
Dang! That’s a lot of steps!

So, I did what any rebel stamper would do—I made it my way. Fewer steps. Less fuss. Still adorable. Boom!

I grabbed the same Pretty Florals stamp set from last week (because hey, the more you use it, the better the value, right?) and the other half of my Timid Tiger cardstock. Recycling, but make it sassy.

I heard from of you not-so beginner stampers. You say my cards are too easy for you. Well, make it your way! Try purchasing the bundle and add some dies to make this card. That can be your way of being a rebel too!

First thing? I chopped off 1″ from the front flap of the card. Boom—instant peekaboo.

Then I pulled out my 2 3/8″ Circle Punch and popped a window right through the front panel. Look at me being all geometrically bold.

Now for the inside. I cut a piece of Basic White to 4″ x 5 1/4″. Then I stamped along the right edge using the leafy stem image.

But here’s where I got extra clever.

I used Darling Duckling ink for the solid flowers, then went back in with Timid Tiger and added the details using one flower from that trio stamp.
Yes, I separated them. It worked.
Yes, I felt like a super stamping ninja.

I glued that piece inside the card and lined it up so the design peeked through the punched circle.

Then came the moment of truth:
I closed the card and stamped the solid flowers right inside the window using Darling Duckling.
Then I added Timid Tiger on top for the details.
Cute, right? Finally, I opened the card and added the stems and leaves with Granny Apple Green.
Why didn’t I stamp the green first?
Because I didn’t want to mess it up.
Because I’m clever. And maybe a tiny bit chaotic.

Finally, let’s talk about that thank you sentiment.

I didn’t just slap it on there—I angled it. Like a rebel with a paper trimmer. I stamped “THANK YOU” on a piece of Basic White, using Darling Duckling and Timid Tiger inks again (because matchy-matchy is cute when I say it is). Then I cut it out at a diagonal so it would slice across the front like it had somewhere to be.

Is it straight? Nope.
Is it bold? Absolutely.

Does it look like I meant to do it that way? Also, a huge YES!!

This card is easy. Bold. Bright. And so very me..
