Come Sail Away Suite Home Decor

Whether you have a collection of nautical themed items that are part of your home decor or just pull them out for summer, you will love creating items with the Come Sail Away Suite. This framed piece I am sharing with you is just the right size to be tucked in with what you already have.

I talked about my incentive trip swaps the other day and shared the cards I created ( you can see them here) this is my 3-D swap item. Remember, I had to create a total of 26 swaps.

I love nautical and decided to create a framed art piece with this suite. I used the following items from the suite for this piece; Sailing Home stamp set, Smooth Sailing Dies, Night of Navy/ Sahara Sand Bakers Twine, and the Sail Away Trinkets.

I had so much fun creating these and adding more and more texture and layers to them. I bought the frames at a local store and lucked out when they had a piece of foam in them. I used the foam to create depth between the framed mat and the picture.

I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the water to give the illusion it was kissed by the sun. You can see it better in this close up.

Allison and I are enjoying the Greek Isles and I can’t wait to get back and share some pictures from our trip with all of you!
