Announcing our Color Refresh! We love color and we know that you do too. Color is fundamental to who we are and what we offer. It’s important for us to stay up-to-date with color trends so we are thrilled to share our updated line of colors, and hope you will be as excited as we are by the new possibilities!

Why now? In 2010 we did a big color renovation and shared our plans for smaller color refreshes every three to five years to keep our colors on trend. Well it has been three years and we are excited to announce that the upcoming 2013-2014 annual catalog will include 10 new colors (most of which are returning In Colors from previous years)! We are welcoming back some of your favorites, moving some colors around, and introducing one brand-new color, so take a look!

Beginning on April 4, 2013, all retiring/discontinued color products (i.e. ink, paper, ribbon, accessories, etc.) will be available only while supplies last. This means that some products will not be available through the retired list period.

Please remember;any of our retiring color products are only available while supplies last so be sure to get yourr favorites and look forward to the exciting colors coming in the 2013-2014 annual catalog.

Leadership Conference Day 2

Leadership Conference Service Project

I thought I would share  something new we did at Leadership. Shelli is always reminding us to help others through service. This year Stampin’ Up! invited us to help with a service project that would benefit local (Orlando) teachers. I am always to help others whenever possible so headed directly up to the 4th floor to help in any way I could.  As we entered we were greeted by several different Stampin’ Up! employees eager to share this wonderful project! This is what we saw..

There were 6 lines of tables extending from the front of the room to the back of the room.

Here is Sarah Douglas thanking DSC00005Valerie Gray for helping with the service project and then she proceeded to explain what the service project was and what we needed to do.

We were to take one of our “green”, reusable bags and fill it up with the product that was in each box. At the end we  were to attach a tag and were told we could write a little note on it and sign our name and the state we were from if we chose to.

I am sure you are thinking- what was in those boxes. Here is what I remember- each bag got our english and spanish catalog, an on board chipboard pack, an In-Color paper pack, 3 different packages of Simply Sent card kits, a journal book, 5 ink pads, 7 or 8 Stampin’ Write markers, a package of In-Color Stampin’ Write markers, 2 packages of rhinestone brads, 3 different spools of ribbon,a MDS CD and I can’t remember what else.  Here is a picture of one of my long distant friends, Ann Clemer helping fill bags.

I was told that there were 2000 bags that would hold a total of $750,000.00 + in product. These were going to be given to 135 local Orlando schools for grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade. I told you Stampin’ Up! is an awesome company!!

Off to Orlando!

It's 8 AM and my flight is ready to take off to Orlando for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference. I didn't sleep much last night ( what's new?) . The excitement of seeing my old friends and meeting new friends from across the states and the eager anticipation of what we will be sharing with each other. So many ideas will be shared that my brain will be on overload , but don't worry, I will be sharing much of what I learn with you in upcoming events, videos and different, exclusive projects i each of  my newsletters , local clubs and Online Clubs. 

This years' Leadership Conference is going to be extra exciting as Stampin' Up! will be kicking off our 25th Anniversary!!!! I know alot of fun and exciting things will be happening this week.

It's 8 AM and our plane is ready to begin boarding.

I thought I would share a shot of some of the swaps I made for Leadership. I will be sharing a card a day beginning tomorrow.

Some of you may recognize a few of the layouts, I went through some of the card kits I had left from events and re-made them by using current sets and accessories. I will show you some of the comaprisons next week.
