Putting all the pieces together to make an Easter Treat Basket

A card using the Stampin’ Up! Eggstra Spectacular stamp set

I’m getting all of my Easter cards ready and thought I would share a card using the Stampin’ Up! Eggstra Spectacular stamp set with you today. You will find this stamp set on page 32 in the Celebrate the Everday Occasions catalog. I shared an Easter Treat Box with you a few weeks back (you can see it here ) and you have been asking for more projects so I have been working on a few to share. The inspiration for this card came from a Convention swap I received a few years ago. I loved the simplicity of the card I received ( sorry there isn’t a name on the back so I can’t give credit) and knew the Bright Blossoms stamp set would be “just right” to pair up with the Eggstra Spectacular set. Tulips seemed to be the best choice as the flowers, after all, it is the first day of spring! I love the grass I created using our new fringe scissors, also found in the Celebrate the Everyday Occasions Catalog. The card needed a bit of sunshine so I added the Daffodil Delight Ribbon and decorative edge.

Follow My Heart card #2

I promised that I would share this second card I created using the Follow My Heart stamp set a while ago. To be honest, I almost forgot! must be snow on the brain……… This is a limited time only stamp available only while supplies last, or through TODAY, Jan 27. I love all of the images in this set, especially the Eiffel Tower and that banner with the key is so dang cute. Trendy Valentine Goody Bag

I didn’t want to keep you waiting today so I am bringing you my Trendy Valentine Goody Bag early this morning. I can’t believe what a little sunshine will do for your creative juices, I spent the entire afternoon yesterday creating fun,quick projects to bring to you. My husband commented that I was like a little kid in a candy store showing him all my creations last night. Even the best of us have that creativity bug bite us and suck all the creativity out!

(I’ll let you in on a little secret.) I’ve been going through boxes since our move but we moved into a house not even 1/4 the size of our last home. I was constantly moving things to get to something then had to move it all back again. With no where for things to go we even had to stack things in front of the windows in the office/closet. While I was away in Houston my husband put up shelves & moved furniture. I came home to sunlight IN my house & I could walk without moving boxes or furniture!! Happy,happy, joy,joy. He’s a real keeper.

Don’t you just love it?

My picture just doesn’t do it justice. It just too dang cute and blingy in real life.

My scrap bin is getting full so I decided it was time for a challenge.I found a scrap of our Tea Lace Doily, some pieces of Red & Silver Glimmer papers & even Whisper White cardstock. I used them all!

Trendy Valentine sneak peeks

I just loved creating this trendy Valentine goodie bag using the Perfect Pennants stamp set. I knew I wanted it simple but lots of texture and layers. What? Is there such a thing? Yes this is it! It is also economical because you can create several with little materials. I am currently working on a video to show you exactly how to make this but am giggling with delight with the finished product. I just couldn’t wait sharing a few little peeks with you today.

Eggstra Spectacular

I teased you earlier in the week with little sneek peeks to this project using the Eggstra Spectacular stamp set from the new catalog. I used the Watercolor Wonder notecards also found in the catalog. I know many of you like to have ideas on alternate ways to used our wonderful notecards and envelopes so here is a quick & easy treat box idea.Isn’t the bunny butt just too dang cute? I will be sharing a video on creating this cutie Wednesday.

I used the Eggstra Spectacular stamp set, Watercolor Wonder notecards, wide oval punch & Large circle scallop punch to create this Easter Treat Box.

I would have done it already but I am finishing up my swaps for Leadership Conference. I will be sharing some of the fun stuff I will be doing there so be on the look out!

An assortment of Holiday projects

I am sharing a video that has a preview of 10 assorted holiday projects. I learned about Google Hangouts a while ago but didn’t have time to figure it all out.. My upline asked me to participate in a Google Hangout with her and a few other side-line demonstrators. I thought I would share the video with you. I want you to remember this is our first try, but be warned, not our last!

I have been thinking of bringing classes to you through Google Hangout so I thought I would give it a try. We all are learning about this great way to share with our customers. I am posting the video here for you to watch and learn about at least 10 more holiday projects that you can make.

I promised to put this Holiday Treat Holder pattern up for you yesterday but I didn’t like the way it was showing up. I didn’t realize how hard it was to get a white pattern to show up! After many attempts I finally got a good one for you to see. As I said in this video you will be able to cut 4 holders from 1 piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ card stock so I know you will be cranking these out in no time!

Looking for a versatile treat holder for the holiday? This is a quick and cute one that can be filled with a variety of treats. I filled it with Ghiradelli Peppermint squares but you can adjust the little pocket to fit many different items. I made a video to show you how to create it. You will notice that I mentioned I would put the pattern up here but I couldn’t get it to show up correctly. I will work on re taking the picture and post tomorrow morning.
