There isn’t a better feeling than sending happy mail to friends. I love creating cards with a special person in mind. Who doesn’t love going to their maibox and seeing happy mail? I know I do. So often I’m told that I could just send a text but it just isn’t the same. Feeling the art of letter writing is becoming lost in today’s world makes me disagree with just sending a text. I remember my mom saving every letter and card she would receive. She would tell me she felt joy when receiving these.

We live across the country from each other and I like lifting her up with cards. Yes, we talk on the phone but that isn’t the same. I know she is going to love this card. Loving her fower gardens she will surely enjoy this bouquet of flowers.
I love how the colors came together for this card. I used Misty Moonlight and Old Olive with a touch of gold. The gold came from our Expressions in Ink Empherma Pack. I adhered it to the Old Olive Cardstock and then fussy cut the two ends, and did the same with the basic Vanilla cardstock.

This close up of the bouquet shows the depth of the Dist-Inktive Forever Fern stamp set. This style stamp is unique to Stampin’ Up! and creates beautiful images. Those small gold leaves sprigs (coordinating Forever Flourishing Dies) are cut from the left over gold sheet when I removed the pre-cut pieces. No waste!
I make the inside of cards just as secial as the fronts. This is easy to do just by stamping some of the images used on the front. Did you notice I added a layer of Misty Moonlight on the inside too?
