Guiding you through the process of creating a stunning flap card using the gorgeous Hello Irresistible DSP and the versatile Two-Tone Flora stamp set. Be sure to check out this card using the Two-Tone Flora stamp set! With a Starry Sky card base and a Calypso Coral DSP featuring a delicate white floral print, this card design is sure to capture attention and delight your recipients. • Flirty Flamingo DSP from the Hello Irresistible collection, 4 x 5 ¼
  • Basic White Cardstock, 3 x 3, 4 x 5 ¼

A simple flap card can be assembled as below:

Step 2: Preparing the Card Base Score the Starry Sky card base at 4 ¼  to create a traditional card fold. This will serve as the foundation for your flap card design.

Step 3: Adhere the DSP to the card front. This creates a beautiful contrast against the dark cardstock and adds visual interest to the design.

Step 4: Score the 2 ¾ x 3 ¾ Starry Sky at 1” along the 3 ¾ edge. You will have a 2 ¾ x 2 ¾ square. Cut this piece in half so you have 2 pieces that measure   1 3/8 x 4. Set aside.

Step 5: Using the Two-Tone Flora stamp set, stamp the floral image in Flirty Flamingo for both steps. Next, stamp the leaves in Starry Sky.

Step 6: Adhere the stamped piece of Basic White to the two flap strips. I left a 1/8” reveal on the top and bottom. You will have a space between the two flaps.

Step 7: Folding the score lines of the flaps and adhere to the inside of the card. Line up the score lines to the edge of the card.

Step 8: Next, decorate the 4 x 5 ¼ Basic White and adhere to the inside of the card.

Step 9: Adding any final touches you desire, such as the Basic Rhinestone Jewels as I did will complete your card.

A simple flap card design is an excellent way to highlight the beauty of patterned paper and stamp sets. Using the Simply Irresistible DSP and the Two-Tone Flora stamp set, you can create a stunning card. With a Starry Sky card base and a Flirty Flamingo DSP featuring a delicate white floral print. This combination is sure to captivate and impress others.

Until we meet again. . .
