SBTD Are Celebrating 3 Years Together

21 Aug

We at the SBTD are Celebrating 3 years together! It is tradition that our anniversary month hoppers choose their theme.. So keep in mind as you hop through the projects that we aren’t following a theme this month. I am sure you will love all the projects we have come up with.

This is one of the simplest pocket cards you can make. You use an envelope for the pocket! Seal the envelope, then cut 3/4″ from one of the ends. I chose to cut one of the short ends for today’s card.

The card tucked inside is a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock that I rounded the two top corners. Add your sentiment, and fancy it up by stamping a leaf over it. I decided to use a second generation image (stamping onto a scrap paper before stamping onto the cardstock) so it didn’t over take the sentiment.

A quick and easy belly band embellishment

This is a close up of the embellishment on the belly band. Do you see the Gold Laser Cut tucked behind the wheat? That sprig came from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper! (#152493) I have found tucking the pieces from this paper brings my project to the next level so quickly!

The Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper (#153520) was my inspiration for this project. I love the “non-traditional” fall colors found within the traditional colors. This paper is sure to show that you are on top of the latest trends!

I hope you enjoy my, and the other projects we are bringing to you this month. Be sure to leave comments on everyone’s project to let us know what you think. SBTD are Celebrating 3 years together because we love sharing what we love.
