Darling Dinos Fun Fold with a Sweet Floral Twist
To build the card, start by folding your Basic White Thick base along the score lines. This creates a shorter front flap that opens to reveal your inner sentiment and gives the card its signature fun fold style. Adhere the 4″ x 4″ floral DSP to the top section and the 1″ x 4″ striped piece to the lower flap. That leftover 1/8″ strip? I used it as a visual “bridge” between the two patterns—it’s tiny, but makes a big difference in balancing the design!
For the focal image, I stamped the dino in Memento Black and colored it using Stampin’ Blends. I love how the Fresh Freesia and Peach Pie combo gives this dinosaur a gentle, whimsical vibe. I then blended Soft Sea Foam ink onto a white scrap using a Blending Brush, added stamped grass, and punched it out with the 2-3/8″ Circle Punch. It’s popped up with Dimensionals so the edge of the circle tucks under the front flap to keep the card closed.
And yes, those Sunny Days Iridescent Dots? Totally necessary sparkle.
