It’s about that time

It’s about time that we change our clocks to Daylight Savings time! Why am I so happy to turn the clocks ahead and lose an hours worth of sleep? Because with turning our clocks ahead spring isn’t too far away. Not that I mind the beauty of the snow, I am just tired of hearing people comment that they are done with winter.

I was able to enjoy the little bit warmer weather  today by starting out with a nice breakfast with my dear hubby, a quick trip to the store and then a nice walk with the dogs. The sun was bright and cheery when a friend stopped in to chat with hubby. This gave me a few hours to play in my stamp studio and get a jump on some of the projects I will share with you this week.

How do you like the unexpected color combination of this card using the Clockworks stamp set?Clockworks stamp set

I used Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, & Basic Black inks and cardstock in creating this card. The Designer Series Paper is Kaleidascope ( my favorite right now).

The Ruffle Stretch ribbon and the Rhinestone Basic jewels added that bit of bling.I have been having fun adding the On Film Framelits Die to my projects lately. This is a trendy look right now. Honestly, it took getting these framelits dies in my hands before I understood the fun of adding these to your crafting projects.

Here are few close ups of the elements on this card.

Super quick to add these clock workings because they coordinate with our 1/2″, 3/4″, & 1″ Circle punches.

The pocket watch needed a little bling too!
