Autism Awareness Blog Hop- Garden in Bloom

April 15, 2017 by Judi Anderson 8 Comments

15 Apr

I am so blessed and honored to be participating in my first blog hop with some of my fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrators to bring awareness to Autism. We are raising funds for Autism Speaks to enhance lives today and accelerating solutions for tomorrow.

A small fact about Autism is that it was added as a special education in 1991 and now is the sixth most common classified disability in the U.S.

The card I am sharing today uses the following; Garden In Bloom stamp set, Hello You Thinlits, By the Shore Designer Series Paper, & Brights Enamel Shapes. I kept with the colors of Autism by using; Real Red, Dapper Denim & Daffodil Delight cardstock & inks. The doily adds a touch of softness to the card.

The word “friend” is also from the Garden in Bloom set, I used my Dapper Denim Stampin’ Write Marker to ink the word friend and omitted the rest of the verse. I just love how the font used goes with the Hello thinlit.

I would love to have you make a donation to Autism Speaks today. If we all give a little we can make a big difference! Click the image below and you will be directed to my fundraising page. After you donate please send me a message and I will be happy to send you one of the thank you cards I have prepared just for you!

Please be sure to visit all these fabulous blogs of stampers who have joined in on today’s Autism Awareness Blog Hop.

What a ‘friendly’ card! The little bee has so much character.

Thank you Michelle. You can’t tell from the picture, but I used a blender pen to bring the dapper denim color from the outline into the wings. I love bees!
