We’re bringing you fall themed projects for our September, What’s New at SU! Blog Hop. If you are visiting from Terry’s project, welcome! If not and you are starting here, welcome!
I have chosen one of my favorite carry-over sets, Country Home, for my project this month. Have you seen the awesome Mercury Glass Designer Acetate on page 33 of the Holiday Catalog? It is fabulous for the milk can image in the Country Home stamp set. Since the stamps are photopolymer you will need to stamp your image in Versamark, sprinkle on some Black embossing powder, and VERY slowly heat the powder until it melts. Be careful not to melt the acetate.
To add a bit more depth to the floral images I punched some sprigs from Mossy Meadow and Cardstock Vellum. I also sponged some of our new Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink onto the embossed leaves.
Let’s see what Lori is bringing us this month.
