Using Days Like This Memories & More for Easy Handmade Cards

Using Days Like This Memories & More for Easy Handmade Cards is one of my favorite ways to sit down, relax, and actually finish cards without overthinking every design choice. When life is busy and my creative brain is tired, card packs like this one do the heavy lifting—while still letting me add just enough stamping and embellishing to make each card feel handmade and special.

For this week’s live, I created three cards using the Days Like This Memories & More Card Pack, paired with the With You In Mind stamp set. The result? Soft, cheerful cards that came together quickly but don’t look rushed or “cookie cutter.”

Why Memories & More Cards Work So Well

Memories & More card packs are one of those supplies that often get overlooked or saved “for later.” But they’re incredibly versatile. The artwork, color coordination, and sentiments are already done for you, which means:

No guessing if colors work together

No stress about focal points

No piles of half-finished cards

Instead of starting with a blank cardstock panel, you start with something pretty—and build from there.

For these cards, I let the Memories & More cards take center stage and simply layered them onto coordinating cardstock. A little stamping, a ribbon accent, and a few embellishments were all it took to finish each one.

This is where the fun comes in. Even though I used the same card pack and stamp set for all three projects, each card has its own personality.

One card features a soft floral design paired with Balmy Blue cardstock, creating a calm and comforting feel. Another leans into warmer tones with Strawberry Slush and Flirty Flamingo, adding a bit more energy and cheer. The third card mixes gentle color with simple layers, proving you don’t need complicated layouts to get a polished look.

To pull everything together, I stamped sentiments from the With You In Mind stamp set using Memento Ink. This stamp set is a great companion to Memories & More cards because the sentiments are thoughtful, clean, and easy to fit into different layouts.

A touch of Pretty In Pink ribbon and White Frayed Ribbon added softness and texture, while Brass Butterfly Embellishments finished each card without overpowering the design. These small details are what elevate quick cards from “simple” to “intentionally designed.”

Supplies Used

Here’s what I used to create all three cards:

  • Days Like This Memories & More Card Pack (166911)
  • With You In Mind Stamp Set
  • Memento Black Ink
  • Cardstock: Strawberry Slush, Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue
  • Ribbon: Pretty In Pink Ribbon, White Frayed Ribbon
  • Embellishments: Brass Butterfly Embellishments

A Great Option for Any Skill Level

These cards are perfect if you’re:

  • Short on time
  • Feeling creatively stuck
  • Wanting to build your confidence
  • Looking for designs you can easily repeat

Memories & More cards are also fantastic for batch card making. Once you find a layout you love, you can recreate it with different cards from the pack and end up with a small stack of finished projects in one sitting.

If you’d like to see exactly how these cards came together, be sure to watch the replay of my live on YouTube. I walk through each card, share layout tips, and show how simple supplies can still create beautiful results.

Until we meet again. . .
