Two new 2022 In-Colors are used to create this card of Poppies. I used the color combinations of Starry Sky, Sweet Sorbet.
What are In-Colors? They are five colors that come into our color line up for two years. Colors that are up to date and on trend in fashion and home decor. This year’s colors are so bright and cheerful! It isn’t often I can say,” I love them all!”
I love using colors that are what I call, “Not quite.” In this case, the Starry Sky isn’t quite navy and the Sweet Sorbet isn’t quite red. When using these colors it adds variety and a different look to your projects.
The stamp set used is the Painted Poppies (#151599). This is a set of 9 cling-mount stamps with images of poppies, backgrounds and a leaf stem. This particular image is so versatile. I have used it to create beautiful cards for almost any occasion you can imagine.
Two new 2022 In-Colors are the primary colors I used.
I did sneak in a third In – Color, Parakeet Party. This bright green is similar to Granny Apple Green, but a lighter shade. If you have been familiar with our colors from a while back, you may think it is close to Green Galore or Gable Green. this is a color that will go with many of our standard colors. I also used one of our standard colors, Daffodil Delight.
Did you notice the ribbon that is weaved in the die cut? That’s the Staryy Night 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon. If you look closely at it in the photo you will see the metallic threads glistening throughout it. I am sure this will be a staple in my upcoming projects.
These In-Colors aren’t available until May 3,2022. Once released, they will be available for two years, until May 2024. There are many more products coming that include all or some of the five new In Colors. If you asked me which was my favorite color, I wouldn’t be able to tell you right now. Here is a glimpse of all five colors!
Please comment with your favorite new In Color.
