The beauty of fall is all around on this beautiful day.

The beauty of fall with all of it’s colors makes it my favorite time of year. I just love watching the leaves turn from a golden yellow to a firey red. I only wish it would last longer.

The beauty of fall trees

Yesterday I walked outside as the sun was setting. I saw a beautiful pink kissed sky with the bold colors of the leaves in front.

Walking out to the front yard, I caught the colorful leaves resting on the lawn. My mums really stood out in front of this scene.

And this photo of another mum next to a few pumpkins.

The beauty of fall and it’s bursting of colors inspired me for today’s card.

Duplicating the scenes of fall that I witnessed was simple by using the Beauty of Friendship stamp set. I can layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colors I choose.

Using Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie inks to duplicate the Silver Maple trees in our neighborhood, I completed the tree with a Soft Suede trunk and branches. I paired the Cottage Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP)plaid in Pumpkin Pie with one of the patterns in the Celebrate Everything 12×12 pack (159913). The beauty of fall is reflected in this card

I wanted to add a little more touchy-feely to my card. The Natural Woven Ribbon anchored by a square brad is perfect! The added sparkle are the Amber Gems in the Leaf Label & Amber Gem pack.
