Pocket Sillhoettes, Stampin’ Up! retiring stamp set

This card usingPocket Silhoettes was a swap I received from Sandra Weiss. I just love the layout and colors  she used. Sandra combined the Pocket Silhoettes set with the Four Frames set # 113790 ( one of our top sellers!) to give it a greater impact on her card. The verse is from the Just Believe set # 116948 (w )#120453 (c)  which, if you have this set, could easily be adapted to this layout. Sandra used a few embossing folders ( the Finial Press #115963) is also retiring , a folder I use frequently. I know I will continue to use it too!! This card is so bright and cheery and I am glad I received her swap.

Raining Flowers

Raining Flowers is a 2-Step Stamp Set that has endless possibilities. I love the combination of 2 of our new In-Colors; Lucky Limeade and Island Indigo. This combination adds that "fun" feeling to your projects while giving you a bit of warmth when needed. Since summer is now behind us and fall is beginning to show its colors I decided these colors would be perfect. We also used Basic Black cardstock & 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon # 109027, added texture to the Island Indigo using the Finial Press embossing  folder # 115963. We colored the stamp using our Stampin' Write Markers and making this card was a breeze!   Sept 1

Did you notice the brads?  They are our Old Olive Brads found in our Brights #119740. Don't they coordinate great? You could also use the Tempting Turquoise brads found in this same assortment as it coordinates with the Island Indigo. That is one thing I absolutley love, love, love about using Stampin' Up! products- the colors coordinate so well!!
