Sending Happy Mail puts a smile on your face and the person you sent it to. I remember running to the mailbox, as a child, to check to see if someone sent me a letter or a note as a child. Some of the notes I loved the most were from my grandmothers.
My one grandmother would send me notes on paper edged with roses, violets, pansies, or other flowers. My favorites were those with the violets and pansies. To this day planting these flowers hold a special place in my heart.
My other grandmother’s notes were more plain, often done on simple paper with words f encouragement and love. I remember one note she sent me that had a daisy pressed in between the pages.
Today it seems people rely on social media and computers to communicate. I urge everyone to sit down and pen a note. It doesn’t have to be long ~ just a quick note to let others know you are thinking of them.
The Snail Mail Suite (155986) is a perfect for such notes! You can’t help but smile at the cheerful faces on the snails to the bright color combination of this suite.
Sending Happy Mail puts a smile on your face and are so much fun to create!
I created a few versions of one layout during my Facebook Lives on Monday (1/11/21). By making your own cards are you can decorate them as little or as much as you want. Not only designing the card front, but also the inside and the envelope.
The smiling starts with the envelope. I stamped and colored the image letting the recipient know there is “Happy Mail enclosed”. Always remember, no naked envelopes! I found the Pampered Pets Ribbon coordinates with this suite too!
Change the look just by changing up the colors of the pieces of cardstock. Change how you color the images and look how adorable!
