You may remember a few weeks ago I was sharing several of my Leadership experiences on my Facebook & Instagram pages. One of the events that I participate in and am passionate about is our Service Projects that we do. I thought I would share a few pictures with you today and also a video that shows what we did.
This is where we entered to do the Service Project. We were greeted & thanked for participating as we entered. We needed to go to different stations to complete different elements of the kit. We put together a total of 500 Birthday Kits for the Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston Texas. Stampin’ Up! chooses a local organization, to where our events are held, to receive the kits we put together.
This is Debi Ryan, my friend from Rhode Island, putting together the banner for the kit. We like getting to the service project early before it gets crowded and we have to wait in line.
This is me working on my kits. What is in each kit? A sticker, a door hanger,a banner, a journal, a stamp & a Stampin’ Write Marker. We always have fun doing the service project and all demonstrators love to see the joy it brings to the recipients when the kits are delivered.
Here is a video that Stampin’ Up! shared with us at Leadership. I sure wish I was in that van delivering the kits! I know the children will love stamping and writing in their journals.
I am always willing to help others with service projects. I have helped make cards for women in prison, make cards for our troops ( & still do), raise funds for cancer patients, stamp with support groups, goodie bags for animal shelters, stamped with the elderly in assisted living, and more. If you have a service project or fund raiser please contact me and we will see what we can do together. I believe what we give comes back to us.
Til we meet again,
