Going Green with projects using green this week. As we celebrate green week for St. Patrick’s Day, all the cards I am posting this week will be primarily shades of green. We have nine shades of green in our color palette and I am in love with them all!
Before we dive into our green projects I want to let you know about a one day special that is going to save you some green! FREE SHIPPING!! You read it right. You will receive FREE SHIPPING when you place a minimum $50 order through my ONLINE STORE on Wednesday, March 17, 2021!!
Do you have troubles putting different greens together? Check out our Designer Series Papers. Several of them have 2 or more shades of green in them which makes putting your colors together super easy.
My first card for this week uses the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set (149298) with the Dandy Garden 6×6 Designer Series Paper (154297).
The Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set is a versatile floral stamp set featuring a gorgeous magnolia for your wow projects! This is a set of 10 cling stamps.
This is the double-sided sheet I chose. You’ll see dragonflies, bees, foliage, and more in this pack of paper. These patterns guarantee to bring a natural look to your projects. This paper crafting staple is great scrapbook paper, card making paper, and more! You receive 48 sheets: 4 each of 12-double-sided designs.
I hope you enjoy my Going Green with projects using green this week.
My first card uses; Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, and Granny Apple Green to create a beautiful Thank You card.
Using the Magnolia Memory Dies (149578) to create an interesting edge to the Designer Series Paper helped to add interest. Don’t you just love how the leaves in the paper create a peaceful background? I stamped the edge image and the magnolia image in Mossy Meadow.
I then used the following Stampin’ Blends to color the image: Light Old Olive, Light Mossy Meadow, Light & Dark Petal Pink, and Light Cinnamon Cider for the stem. Lots of white space was left for the flower. I’m going to let you in on a little secret (or two) when using the Stampin’ Blends. Be sure to saturate your paper with the light color first, this will make blending the colors together much easier. The second secret is leave white space for your highlights! You will love the effect you get when incorporating these two tips.
I added a double bow with our Polka Dot Tulle ribbon. The finishing touch are the Holiday Rhinestone Gems in Green!
I continued the look on the inside of the card also.
Until we meet again. . .
