Did you call your best friend for National Best Friend Day yesterday? I had the best intentions to call her but my sinus infection had me down and out. I started the day with what I thought was allergies which soon turned into a non-stop runny nose, headache and watery eyes. I managed to get through my two Facebook live classes and then hit the couch.
I thought I would give her a call in about an hour. Well, I fell asleep sitting up, and didn’t wake for over 3 hours.
To celebrate our friendship on National Best Friend Day. . .
I had mailed her this card a few days earlier. I was also expecting to chat with her a bit when I called her. I am hoping she will like this card.
The layout I used for the card is so versatile. You can arrange the mats in a variety of different ways to give it a different look each time. You can also get a variety of looks just by changing the Designer Series Papers and stamp sets used.
I used the soon to be retired Girlfriends stamp set. This is a must have set to have in your collection for creating those special cards and projects for your girlfriends. The girl images take on a different look by changing their skin and hair color. This set is just like playing with grown-up paper dolls!! I have even done paper-piecing giving their clothes a designer look.
Yes, this set will soon be retiring. It will be available for purchase through my Online Store through June 30,2021. Be sure to check out our Last Chance Sale on the other products that will be leaving us this same day on MY SPECAILS PAGE HERE.
I have made a video showing how I created this special card for my friend.
I hope you enjoyed watching how to create this card using a layout that is versatile. Don’t forget to take advantage of up to a 50% savings by shopping the Last Chance Sale for the Jan-June 2021 Mini Catalog.
Until next time. . . . .
