Creating Easy Cards is one of my favorite ways to get back to the joy of stamping—especially on busy weeks when time and brainpower are in short supply. For my January 13 live, I used a stamp kit to create these cards, and it was the perfect reminder that beautiful projects don’t have to be complicated to be satisfying.

Stamp kits are designed to remove the friction that sometimes sneaks into crafting. No digging for coordinating cardstock. There’s no wondering which ink works best. No second-guessing whether your embellishments will clash. Everything is curated, coordinated, and ready to go—making it easy to sit down and actually create.
That’s exactly why I love reaching for a kit during a live. It allows us to focus on layout, assembly, and small design choices instead of supply prep. And whether you’re brand new to stamping or a seasoned crafter, there’s something incredibly freeing about opening a box and knowing you’re set up for success.
During the live, I shared how kits can be used in two ways:
- Follow the instructions exactly for quick, confidence-boosting results
- Use the kit as a starting point, swapping elements or rearranging layers once you’re comfortable- this is great for your avid stampers!
Both approaches are valid—and both lead to cards you’ll be proud to send.

Creating Easy Cards with a Stamp Kit Starts with Simplicity
One of the biggest benefits of stamp kits is how they teach good design without overwhelming you. The layouts are intentional. The layers are balanced. The embellishments are placed with purpose. Over time, you start to recognize patterns you can reuse on other projects, even outside of kits.
That’s why I often say kits are not just for beginners—they’re also an excellent reset button for experienced stampers. When creativity feels heavy or decision fatigue sets in, a kit brings the fun back fast.
Another bonus? Kits are fantastic for:
- Crafting on the go
- Quick gift-making
- Building a card stash
- Introducing friends or family to stamping
And yes—these cards absolutely hold their own next to fully customized projects.
If you missed the live, don’t worry. You can watch the replay to see the cards come together and hear more tips on how I approach kit-based projects. I also share ideas for stretching the kit and making it work for your personal style.
If you’ve been feeling stuck, short on time, or just want crafting to feel easy again, a stamp kit might be exactly what you need. Sometimes the simplest projects bring the biggest creative wins.

Until we meet again. . .
