Create a colorful Birthday Card using these steps

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Start with a white card base (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ folded in 1/2). Cut a mat (4″ x 5 1/4″) from Basic Black cardstock to fit the front of the card base, leaving a small white border around the edges.
  2. Next, cut one strip (7/8″ x 3 3/4″) each, from the Peach Pie, Petunia Pop, Pretty In Pink, Shy Shamrock, and Summer Splash cardstock. Using the sparkle stamp, stamp each strip with its corresponding ink color to add a touch of texture.
  3. Evenly space the stamped strips across the Basic Black mat, ensuring they align neatly and cover the entire mat. Adhere them securely to the Basic Black cardstock.
  4. Create Focal Images: Stamp three images from the Around We Go Bundle in Peach Pie, Petunia Pop, and Shy Shamrock inks. Use the coordinating dies to cut out these images. I used a 1 3/4″ circle punch to cut the circle with the cut-out dots. Now stamp the circles in the centers. I added depth and dimension by adhering them to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  5. Add the Sentiment: Stamp “Happy Birthday” with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on white cardstock. Carefully fussy cut the sentiment and attach it to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, placing it strategically among the stamped images.
  6. Finishing Touches: Add a Black & Vanilla Gingham ribbon to the card for a charming touch. Adding three Glossy Dots in the centers of the images to add a bit of sparkle.

Create this Card in two orientations

I am going to shake things up a bit now. You see, this card can be either landscape, as above. Or it can be portrait as the card below. This is one of the things I like about this layout. It easily adapts to either orientation just by changing the position of the sentiment.

Around We Go Bundle

This card is a delightful blend of bright colors and thoughtful details, makes this card a joy to create and even more enjoyable to give.
