Celebrating New Year’s Eve is met with different emotions for me. I love the thought of starting new. I also am sad to see how fast the current year has flown by. (much too fast lately!)
These cards that sparkle will be going out to a few friends. We send Christmas cards but how many of you send New Year’s cards?
I created a handful of New Year’s cards to send again this year. I’ll be sending these to a few friends who don’t celebrate Christmas or who can’t wait for 2023 to begin.
The products are from the Brightest Glow Bundle (#159522)for my cards. I have cut an assortment of theLights Aglow 6×6 Designer Series Paper (#159535)as a simple backdrop. I say to go into your stash of papers and choose those with a New Year’s vibe!
Celebrating New Year’s Eve with all that sparkles all around us.
From party decorations to the clothes we wear it seems that glimmer and sparkles are all around us. I love seeing all the table settings with all the rich colors. Many choose to use black and silver or gold. My favorites are all the bright rainbow of rich colors.
WIth this in mind, here are two of my card designs.
This first one is black and gold. It is formal with the accents of gold foil in the paper, gold shimmery ribbon, and Basic Rhinestone Jewels as accents. My thoughts for this combo was a black dress of sequines with gold jewelry and shoes. A New Year’s classic attire.
My next card is in rich greens, reds, and gold with a vanilla backdrop. It reminds me of a glorious table decorated with garlands, candles, stars and more! You can see the detail of the die around the sentiment circle. I added Gold Gilded Gems for sparkle.
zcelebrating New Year’s Eve is different for each of us. Whether you are going out on the town, to a party with friends or family, or staying home;
I wish you all a Happy New Year!
Until we meet again. . .
