Butterflies will be here soon! It’s hard to believe with the weather we’ve been having lately but spring will be here soon and butterflies will be flying around our gardens.
In preparations for spring, we will be releasing our Butterfly Brilliance Bundle as an early 2021-2022 Annual Catalog release in March. As a demonstrator I was able to order this release this month to begin preparing projects for you. Did you know that if you join my team this month you can order this bundle as part of your starter kit?(Be sure to check the bottom of this post to see the FREE Gift you will also receive during the month of February.)
There is also an Exclusive stack of beautiful 6×6 Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper (DSP) that will be available during March. The colors and images in this DSP are gorgeous!
Butterflies are coming soon, but they are landing all over my stamping desk already.
I am spending some time playing with this bundle today. I decided to give you an extra early sneak peek of it. Yeah, I know, I don’t usually don’t do this bit I am super excited and having so much fun playing with it!
For this card I took a sheet of the 6×6 DSP and cut it to 3″ x 4″. This piece was then cut it in half so I had two 1 1/2″ x 4″ strips . Next, I cut a 1 1/2″ piece from each strip so I had 4 pieces of DSP. I arranged them onto a 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Basic Black cardstock.
I stamped the butterfly stamp using a variety of coordinating colors that coordinated with the DSP. I layered that onto a 3 7/8″ x 4 7/8″ piece of Basic Black. This was all adhered to a Basic White card base.
I used the Double Oval Punch for the sentiment and added a die cut butterfly. Our Pastel Pearls were the perfect added touch to my card.
