Blessings of Home stamp set (157930) is perfect to let someone know you are thinking of them. I love this cling mount set, filled with floral bouquets that resemble a pencil sketch. The sentiments in this set are uplifting for all occasions.
Personalize the wildflower bouquets using a coloring technique of choice. The results I achieve depends on the product I use to color with. I will often leave the image stamped with my favorite color, without coloring it too. The larger bouquet serves as a stunning focal point, while the smaller bouquet is perfect for layering.
I am using the Soft Pastels (#154585) to color the smaller bouquet image. I used one dry and one wet Blender Pen to color today’s image. When using the Soft Pastels, scrape a little chalk off the color of your choice. I use the spatula end of our Take-Your Pick Tool. Then I picked up some chalk with the dry Blender Pen then colored in each image. I used the wet Blender Pen to pick up chalk and then colored the areas I wanted darker. Using the wet pen helps to set the chalk. Don’t you just love these colors?
Blessings of Home stamp set is a Distinktive** stamp set.
This means it has a special texture. This texture gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images. This style of stamp is exclusive to Stampin’ Up! **Patent pending
Stamping the card base with the same bouquet in Crumb Cake Classic Ink gives it interest. The final touch was adding the newly released Real Red Linen Ribbon.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project.
Until we meet again. . .
