Big Stampin’ Up! Changes You’ll Want to Know About

Big Stampin’ Up! Changes You’ll Want to Know About

You know me—I like to keep you in the loop so there are no surprises when you go to order your favorite crafting goodies. Well, friends, Stampin’ Up! has some big changes coming over the next year. Some are happening now, and others will roll out in 2025. Let’s break it down so you can plan your shopping (and maybe snag a few last-chance treasures).

Goodbye Cling Stamps

Cling stamps (our beloved red rubber with the sticky backing) are being retired. Yep, I gasped too. The last catalogue to feature them will be the Sept–Dec Mini (starting Sept. 3, 2025).

But here’s the good news: photopolymer stamps aren’t going anywhere—in fact, they’re stepping into the spotlight. They’re clear, they stamp crisp, and they make placement a breeze (you’ll wonder how you ever eyeballed without them). Even background stamps will now be photopolymer. And don’t worry—your clear blocks will still work just fine.

Farewell to Stampin’ Write Markers

Big Stampin’ Up! Changes

Another biggie: Stampin’ Write Markers are officially on the Last Chance List. With Stampin’ Blends taking over as the fan favorite, sales of the Writes have dipped, so SU! is letting them go.

If you don’t already own a set, this is your last chance to grab them. And let me tell you, they’ve been my trusty sidekick for years. Here’s why I’ve loved them:

  • 🎨 Multicolor Stamping – Ink one stamp in several colors for cool effects.
  • ✏️ Fine Details & Journaling – Perfect for tiny images or scrapbook notes.
  • 💡 Color Coordination – They’ve always matched our papers, inks, and embellishments.

Sleek New Packaging for Stamps & Dies

Big Stampin’ Up! Changes

Now for a fun update: starting November 2025, both stamps and dies will arrive in slimmer, matching cases. My craft drawers are already sighing with relief.

Here’s what’s coming:

  • New uniform size: 5⅝” x 9″ (14.3 x 22.9 cm).
  • Printed artwork (at 100% size!) so you’ll instantly know what’s inside.
  • Dies + coordinating stamps in the same packaging style = easier to keep bundles together.

The transition will take time, so you may see a mix of old and new packaging for a while. If you love the current clear stamp cases, those will still be available (but no promises for how long). And for my fellow organizers: Stamp & Die Organizers (167772) will be available in November in packs of 10 so you can switch over your whole collection if you want.

I totally understand that this is a lot to take in so, if you have any questions about any of these changes, please contact me at; judi@judistamps.com.  You’ll want to be sure to sign up for my newsletter for more updates and the latest news and tips.

While some changes mean saying goodbye to favorites, others are making stamping more streamlined. Which change are you most excited about? Leave me a comment or send me an email—I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Until we meet again. . .
