An all occassion card using Beautifully Happy is easily adaptable. All occassion cards are always fun to create. Designing a card that will fit a variety of occassions and lends itself to a variety of images.
I can use flowers, fun, cutsie images, scenes and more. I keep them simple. Sometimes I will create the same design in a variety of colors. This allows me to choose a favorite color of the recipient, thus personalizing it for them.
Using a simple sentiment for the front of the card that isn’t specific is another tip. You can use; “For You”, “just because”, “Thinking of You” and so many more.
When you need a card for a specific occasion, just stamp the specific sentiment on the inside. You can use; “Happy Birthday”, “Sympathy”, “missing You” for this.
An all occassion card is one that can be sent for any reason.
Having these themed cards on hand make it easier to send happy mail. You know. That card you send to someone to put a smile on their face. How often do send a card, just because? I know if you had some cards on hand that you could, easily, send to that special someone when you think of them, you would send more.
I am sharing an all occassion card that uses the Beautifully Happy stamp set (#160804). This is set that can be earned, free, during January & February with a qualifying purchase.
In my sample I used Mint Macaron and Polished Pink. I will be changing out the Polished Pink to a variety of colors. The only change I will have to make when doing this is the pink mat and the ink for the flowers. I am sure to have my recipient’s favorite color on hand!
The black & white checked ribbon will coordinate with any color. The sentiment,” Sending happy thoughts”, on the tag is versatile. I can see using this card for any occassion except maybe a sympathy card.
The image was simple to create because this stamp set is a two step stamp. This means, there is one stamp for the outlines and another to color the images inside. Super easy for all level crafters!
