A memory page that is fitting for just about any occasion is always fun to make. I participated in the 3-D/scrapbook page swap for the Maui Incentive Trip this week. I had trouble deciding what to make. A cute box filled with candy? How about an framed art piece? A magnet? Or how about a mini memory book? NO, a memory page.
Creating a memory page that is fitting for just about any occasion was on my mind for the. .
Pictures taken on the incentive trip would need a place to show off. We haven’t been able to see our stamping friends from across the continent for a year and a half now. This page had to have a “Hawaiian” feel to it.
Our Expressions in Ink Suite fit the bill !The perfect colors for the feel I wanted to accomplish Polished Pink, Pear Pizzazz, Pale Papaya, and Shaded Spruce. Plus, the frenzy of fresh flowers in it were perfect.
I stamped the flowers and the leaves then cut them out using the Artistic Dies. The flowers are stamped in Pale Papaya with Polished Pink centers.
Did you notice that gorgeous floral spray die cut in the upper left corner? This die is included in the die set and was perfect for behind the flower and leaves.
Hints of gold throughout the Designer Series Paper gave me the idea to use some of our Gilded Leafing on the tag. I first put a strip of Tear & Tape across the bottom of the tag. I then added the Gilded Leafing, making sure to rub it in so it set. Next, I tore the bottom edge for a less formal look to the tag/title.
The friendships we receive through being a demonstrator surely refresh our soles, and much more.
Aloha!
