A little Irish luck for friends for St. Patrick’s Day. I love sending luck to my friend’s on St. Patrick’s Day. My brother’s and I loved creating shamrocks out of paper plates as children. We would hang them in the windows for everyone to see.
Starting my stamping journey continued the tradition of shamrocks. I began sending shamrocks to friends and family in my cards. I take a look at my crafting supplies to see what I can use to make these cards. Today’s card is no exception.
I started with Mossy Meadow and Old Olive cardstock as my base. I embossed the two strips of Old Olive using the Tasteful Textile 3-D embossing folder (152718).
Wishing a little Irish luck is easy when I use the Word Wishes dies.
I use the Word Wishes Dies (149629) to create custom die-cut words for special days. The Happy St. Patrick’s Day words were perfect for my project!
Looking through my collection of designer series paper, I looked for a plaid pattern that would work. One of the patterns from the Hydrangea Hill (154570) package was perfect! I want to be honest, it was surprising to find a perfect plaid in this floral collection of papers.
Do you recognize the bow tie? It is from the Suit & Tie Dies (154322). You can create the best-dressed projects using this set of dies. Add accents or create an entire shirt front. Go formal or casual and use the colors and paper you want–the choice is yours. I added the details with my Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Marker.
Take a close look at the shamrock. I colored the white Resin Hearts using my Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend pen. The stem is one of the centers from the “a’s”.
How would you like to see a video on creating this card? I shared how to create it in my HapBEE Stamping with Judi Community on Facebook. Head over, ask to join, and you will have access to this class and more! Check it out here.
