A Grassy Grove with a deer peeking out of the trees

A Grassy Grove Bundle (157845) is perfectly paired with the New Horizons 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (DSP). I am always looking for masculine and nature themed paper crafting products. Because I do scrapbook pages and cards for men who love nature, I have found this bundle to be a perfect match.

The New Horizons DSP (#157768) is filled with so many natural sceneries that is left to your imagination. Every time I look at it I see something different. Seeing mountains at first glance on the piece I chose for my project. Next, I saw a cabin surrounded by greenery and mountains. I saw this cabin sitting along side a lake in front of it also.

A Grassy Grove in front of the lake.

This scene of this piece of DSP was perfect for a backdrop to the tree scene die in the bundle. I used Night of Navy cardstock to cut the tree line and grassy grove to mimic the look of a shadow. I stamped the deer in Soft Suede and the trees in Garden Green and an Early Espresso Marker.

Attaching the tree & grassy die cut piece with Stampin’ Dimentionals makes the lake appear further away. I just love how the pink is peeking through the trees, don’t you? It gives the illusion of a gorgeous sunset!

I stamped a little scene on the inside of the card too!
