Sending a simple thank you is a lesson my grandmother enstilled in me. She wasn’t talking about the actual design of the notecard, rather the act of saying thank you.
Sending a thank you for my gifts at Christmas wasn’t my favorite thing to do when I was young. At first, I would simply write, ” Thank you for – – – ” then sign my name. But as the years went on I would eleaborate and write more in my notes. I also began decorating the actual note cards. I would doodle added images or lines using an assortment of colored markers and pens.
Writing thank you’s actually became something I looked forward to. Before the holidays I would go out looking for notecards with simple designs that I could add my touch to. I would also seek simple, basic notecards to use throughout the rest of the year.
Sending a simple thank you is something I continue to do today.
Instead of going out and looking for notecards, I now create them. I start with our notecards & envelopes, a stamp set (or two) and a few colors of inks. I like to keep them simple, but elegant.

These are the thank you’s I will be sending out to those who invited us to an event or gave us a gift. I actually made all four of them during a Facebook Live in our HapBEE Stamping with Judi Community. We would love for you to join us here.
Until we meet again. . .
