A bouquet of daisies will surely put a smile on anyone’s face! I wanted to create that would bring joy and a smile to the person who receives it.
These daisies remind me of bright Gerber Daisies, my favorites! I wanted to use one of my go-to color combinations; red, yellow, and blue for this card. For the blue, I used Coastal Cabana, the yellow, Daffodil Delight and the red is Poppy Parade.
I used the Daisy Lane stamp set. I love that the images and sentiments are perfect for sending “happy mail”. Using Sponge Daubers, to color the stamps creates this unique look to the daisies.

Who wouldn’t love that? Oh my gosh! I just got an idea while writing this post. Using this same idea, I will make some tags and attach the tag to a Gerber Daisy. Handing them out to neighbors and friends, just because. Now who could resist smiling when they receive this little gift?
I’ll bet you would not have made the stems Coastal Cabana! Remember that when you are using a color palette, it is ok to stamp images in one of the colors that normally wouldn’t be that color. Even though these stems are on the blue side, your eyes trick you because it is one of the colors you are using. Stamping the inside of the card helps to make it extra special.
