Crane of Fortune Bundle for the ICS Hop

March 8, 2022 by Judi Anderson 8 Comments

8 Mar

Crane of Fortune Bundle is my favorite bundle right now. The simple elegance of this set makes it easy to create projects with.

This set consists of 8 cling mount images that includes a crane and double chrysanthemum blossoms. I love both of these images. Because of their amazing texture and depth, they make the perfect focal point. The die set consists of 7 dies that enhance the stamps beautifully.

I love adding some of the accent stamps to enhance my images. I have found the sentiments in this set are useful for several occasions and when sending well-wishes to others.

Crane of Fortune Bundle is used to create this beautiful card fitting for a wedding.

Or anniversary, a special birthday, or special occasion. This card has a lot of texture, depth and sparkle.

I used the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder on the Smokey Slate layer for beautiful texture. I then added a layer of our cardstock Vellum before adding the stirps from the Symbols of Fortune Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Because both sides of the double-sided paper are just as gorgeous as the other, they all can be used on this card design. I love the gold running through the one side and the colors on the other.

Taking a cue from the gold in two of the strips, I added some of our Gilded Leafing to the flowers. You can see the leafing better in this photo.

Some of the other products I used are: Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon (#155672) colored with the Light Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend (154881), and a few of our Elegant Faceted Gems(#152464). I used my heat gun to do the ribbon effect.
