Mountain Air & New Horizons make a great card for nature lovers and those who love the beauty of the great outdoors. Creating cards with this set and Designer Series Paper is a snap.

I love driving and seeing a mountain range ahead of me. The beauty of the moutains reaching into the sky is always a beautiful sight. I love how the mountains seem to reach into the clouds, or is it the clouds resting among the mountains? Watching the changing view as I drive closer always leaves me amazed.

I started my card by going through the New Horizons Designer Series Paper 6×6 pack (157768) to choose my background. So, I decided on this sheet.

I knew this would make a great background for my mountains. The white spaces in the middle reminds me of a lake and the designs in front reminded me of trees and grasses. Let me know what you see in this by leaving me a comment.

This is what the Mountain Air stamp set ( 151610 )looks like. Using the outlined mountains, the treescape, and flying birds images from the set would make my vison come to life.

Mountain Air & New Horizons Designer Series Paper combined to create a beautiful card!

Imagining looking at a mountain range from a field, I decided where I would stamp the images chosen. I saw the mountains reaching into the sky. At the base of the mountains are trees. Because of the pattern, I feel the paper gives the illution of trees. Seeing an island in between the water, I stamped some trees over this area. So more trees were stamped in the foreground. to bring the scene forward. After I stamped the images and put them onto the card base the sky seems to be kissed by a pinkish sunset. Did you notice?

And I strategically placed our new Pebbles Enamel Shapes (158141) along the waters edge. I love how this card pulled together and now wonder what it would look like if the paper was flipped!

The products I used may be purchased through my Online Store.

Until we meet again. . .
