A little about Me, my name is Judi Anderson. Happily married to my best friend for 47 years. I am a mother of 4, a grandmother to 6. My family means everything to me. Things I enjoy are, traveling, gardening, sewing, painting, decorating, driving my bulldozer, & spending time with my recently retired husband.
My stamping journey began over 23 years ago. I had never stamped before. I was invited to a friend’s workshop, only attending for the guacamole and margaritas. Filled with laughter & everyone having fun, I entered the workshop, and had to try it to see what all the excitement was about. Sitting down, I began stamping & was hooked!
Without even knowing how to stamp, I signed to become a demonstrator right away. I just knew in my heart it was the right thing to do. Already having decided to stop doing woodworking & teaching others to paint, this was perfect! Working from home was important to me. I wanted to be available to help at school and other functions with my children.
I began researching all I could after signing to be a demonstrator and haven’t looked back. Back then there wasn’t much available. I did some things out of the ordinary, because I am self-taught. But that’s okay, there is no right or wrong in this craft. The coordination of colors throughout the products was a huge draw for me. To this day I continue learning new things and love sharing & teaching what I learn with others.
A little about me and why my journey continues
My journey continues today because of the community, it holds a special spot in my heart. The friendships, not only that I have made, but those that continue to be made when I bring others together to learn. The special Stampin’ Up! (R) community of demonstrators is just as important to me, with friends from all around the world. Meeting others from around the world has widened my circle of friends.
Stamping has fulfilled my creative side as well as help me out of my shell. Believe it or not, I was pretty shy before sharing stamping. So grateful I went to that first workshop (for just the margaritas and guacamole!) 23+ years ago. By sharing creative ideas, I hope to inspire you to be unique in your everyday stamping and paper crafting.
